How to get a Spotify account for free
Here’s what to do to get a free Spotify account without an invite, be sure to complete all steps:
1. Visit this link in a new tab or window and you shall see a field where you can enter an URL, copy and paste this address to the field: https://www.spotify.com/en/get-started/ and click “Go”.
If you’re having trouble here, try to change browser (use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer).
2. Now you’ll get to the signup page for Spotify and you need to come up with a nickname and a password, the country will be France (there’s no option) and it’s important that the postal code is: 69002
3. When the signup is completed you’ll be able to download the Spotify client and install it, do so.
4. If you live in Sweden: visit this link before logging into the Spotify client, enter your nickname/password and choose “edit profile” to change country and postal code (Sweden and a Swedish postal code, such as 25255).
5. Now you’re finished and able to use Spotify for free! This work’s at least for people in Sweden and France, maybe even the UK (?). For people outside these countries I’m not sure whether it will work or not, the only way to find out is to try ;)
